PENGEKSPORAN SENJATA CHINA MELAMPAUI JERMAN ( WEAPONS exporting BEYOND CHINA GERMANY )

China telah menggeser posisi Jerman sebagai eksportir persenjataan terbesar ketiga sedunia. Beijing kini mengurangi impor senjata lewat produksi lebih banyak senjata yang lebih canggih, menurut suatu laporan terbaru.

Pemasok perangkat pertahanan milik pemerintah China, seperti Norinco Group, menjadi perhatian dalam beberapa pameran persenjataan. Namun ekspor persenjataan Jerman turun drastis menjadi 43% dalam lima tahun yang berakhir 2014 dibanding periode 2005-2009.

China hanya mewakili 5% dari keseluruhan ekspor yang senilai lebih dari $300 miliar per tahun. Angkanya jauh di belakang AS sebesar 31% dan Rusia dengan 27% pada periode 2010-2014. Namun dalam hal ini tetap saja, pangsa Cina berlipat ganda dibanding satu dasawarsa lampau.
